Lines of police like this one prevented any entry into the area where the NSM gave their speeches.  No hostile force would get near them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

You can barely make out the NSM flag behind the police lines in the picture below.  That's why most of the White people were barracaded away from the speakers behind these police lines.

Most of the arguments between the NSM nonWhites were not genuine disagreements.  There was a lot of yelling against the war and this poster advocating women's rights.  Except for religeous extremists I believe most White people think war is obsolete and that women have the right to abortion.  I would have made comments to this effect but I was afraid to start any dialogue given the friction that was being expressed between the groups.
