John de Nugent had such a close relationship with Michael Collins Piper that Michael asked him to colaborite on a book shortly before he died.

 

De Nugent's defense against accusations of being gay revolve around his long-term relationship with Margaret Hucksinker who supported him for many years except for a separation that lasted a year and a half.

 

During the separation de Nugent stated that he would have left her years ago if she had not been paying his rent.

In an interview with Tom Metzger, John praises Margaret's operatic voice but when an audio clip of her voice is played it is apparent that her tremulo is embarrassing.  This proves that John's obsequiece adoration of his life partner is insincere.

A look at the men John admires reveals Michael Collins Piper, also accused of being effeminate.  Another of his heros is Edgar Steele who promoted LSD as a way to achieve world peace two days before his anurism.  Association with druggies and poofters, along with living off a woman do not support a reputation for manliness.

Another problem is that John seems to believe that it is reasonable to expect the White Nationalist adherents to support him financially.  In response to accusations of gayness agagainst John, the WN's stopped sending him money for his campaign for Sheriff and for his weird company "Eternal Solutreans" which he claims caused him to lose his home.  It is strange that anyone would depend on contributions for his personal support.

The biggest problem with John's assertion that he is heterosexual is the tone of his writing.  He writes like a woman: using endless trivial proofs of his family life to prove his manliness against trivial insults.

 

Another important voice in the White Power community, Michael Collins Piper, has been accused of being a fairy.  The two men often saw each other at White Power events which they helped organize and often appeared as speakers.  Both were beautiful Nordic men.  John de Nugent stated that he is too upset about the death to listen to Piper's recordings.  Both men are brillient, personable and handsome and both have a pronouned swishy self-confidence that blinds them to their own weaknesses.  In Piper's case, he alleged to the end that he was not an alcholic when it was obvious to friends that he was.  If there was a relationship, John de Nugent is going to have a very hard time getting over the guilt and grief of losing his best friend (or his potential best friend.)  John states on his website that Michael had approached John to help him write his latest book but apparently John did not take him up on the offer since John then states that "It was obvious that he was in a tailspin." 

 

If John had allowed himself the luxury of inviting Michael to live with him and his live-in companion, Michael's life might have been saved.  Michael had no chance in Idaho.  He woulc barely walk due to gout, probably caused by alcoholism and morbid obesity.   He was living in a house in back of Mark Glenn's house.  Michael had to cut wood from the forest and drag it into the stove which apparently caused the house to burn down badly enough to force Michael to move to a room at the Budget Saver Motel in Coeur d-Alene.  Michael was a city boy.  He could not manage the harsh conditions in northern Idaho after his massive heart attack which required a quadruple by-pass surgery only months before his death.
